SUMMARY:
Project-based multimedia learning is one instructionaL
 strategy that we can use and may also include non-technical 
 
projects, lecture  and note-talking, writing and artistic or creative

 project-based multimedia learning strategy in teaching English process

 through distance education:

1. It is a powerful motivator students engaged in the creating in

 multimedia projects.

2. It makes teachers look for and apply the methods that optimize 

learning effect.

3. It makes teachers structurize the form of material.

According to Morgan, the basic argument on favour of 

self-contained focus groups is that they reveal aspects of experiences 

and perspectives that would not be as accessible without group interaction.

 The focus groups used in the learning process must be homogenous.

The following parameters for focus groups are set:

- Group participants should be familiar with each other.

- Group participants should be homogenous.

- Group session should be no more than two hours.

- Group rules in each session include respecting each other opinions, no put-downs and 

letting everyone have a chance to talk.


REFLECTION:
I learned that Project based multimedia learning is one strategy of a 

teacher that is important to have because it helps to motivate students.

 And I learned also that this technique has its limitation or parameter, 

so we should be knowledgeable on it.

The power of Film, Video and TV in the classrooM

The film, the video and the TV are indeed very powerful. Dale (1969) says, they can:
1.    Transmit a wide range of video- visual materials including still pictures, film, objects, specimen and drama.
2.    Bring model of excellence to the viewer.
3.    Bring the world of reality to the home and to the classroom through a live broadcast or as mediated through film or video tape.
4.    Make us see and hear for ourselves world events as they happen.
5.    Be the most believable source of news.
6.    Make some programs understandable and appealing to a wide variety of age and educational levels.
7.    Become a great equalizer of educational opportunity.
8.    Provide us with sounds and sights.
9.    Can give opportunity to teachers to view themselves while they teach for purposes of self-improvement.
10. Can both instructive and enjoyable.
Their limitations:
1.    TV and film is a one-way communication device consequently they encourage passivity.
2.     There is much violence in TV.
Basic procedure as a Supplementary
1.    Prepare the classroom.
2.    Pre-viewing activities.
3.    Viewing
4.    Post-viewing
5.    Go to the question you raised at the pre-viewing stage.
6.    Tackle questioned.
7.    Ask what the students learned.
8.    Summarize what was learned.


Reflection:
 I learned that film, Video and TV in the classroom are instructional materials enhances the effectiveness of a teaching strategy, thus as a future educator we should be knowledgeable enough in order for us to be an effective teacher.
